Snapping is when an object is moved to the nearest location at which it aligns with an intersection of a specified grid. The default grid is 1x1 pixels, which means that the object will always align with the nearest pixel.

Example: When snapping is set to a 1x1 grid, a coordinate value of (1.4,0) will show in placement as being (1,0) until it becomes more than the object will be positioned at (2,0).
